The Stimulus Bonus Roundup - BlogRoll Style
In keeping with the theme of my previous post regarding Kroger’s stimulus promotion, I wanted to go ahead and make a list of the current available stimulus related offerings out there. However, since I am an avid blog reader, I thought I would make the list and the provide related references to some of my favorite blogger sites. Granted, the information could be found just reading one of the blogs that lists all of them out there, but there is plenty of additional relative information in the blog comments as well. There is also knowledge to be gained from reading about how different are reacting to the influx of “found money”. The first list below has the retailer that is offering the promotion So here goes, in no specific order:
Stimulus Bonuses and Promotions:
- Kroger Co. Supermarkets: 10% Bonus Added to Gift Card (Includes Kroger, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Hilander, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen’s, Pay Less, Ralphs, Smith’s and QFC stores)
- SuperValu Inc. Supermarkets: 10% Bonus Added to Gift Card (Includes Acme, Albertsons, bigg’s, Bristol Farms, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy, Hornbacher’s, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s/Star Market, Shop ‘n Save and Shoppers Food & Pharmacy)
- ShopRite: 10% Bonus Added to Gift Card (I grew up shopping at ShopRite. I miss it!)
- Sears, Kmart, Lands End: 10% Bonus Gift Card (Seperate Gift Card)
- Meijer: 10% General Merchandise Gift Card (This offering has the drawback of not allowing you to buy groceries with the $30 gift card) From the Meijer web site:
For every $300 in Meijer Gift Cards you buy, we’ll kick in a coupon for $30 off your next General Merchandise and Apparel purchase at Meijer stores!
- Walmart: Refund the purchase fee on its Wal-Mart MoneyCard (Snoozer)
- Circuit City: 5-15% of Wide Range of products (Sale Link)
- Staples: Various discounts/coupons (Offers Link)
